We’re thrilled to announce an exciting expansion at Classical Pilates of Long Island—one that honors our classical roots while embracing a broader vision of whole-body wellness.
Beginning this season, we welcome Jen Ward to our studio family. Jen is not only a certified Classical Pilates instructor, but also a pelvic floor specialist, licensed acupuncturist, Fletcher Pilates practitioner, women’s health coach, and Ayurvedic practitioner. Her depth of knowledge and integrative approach make her a truly unique addition to our team.

What Are Wellness Pilates Sessions
Jen’s Wellness Pilates Sessions are a hybrid experience—rooted in Classical Pilates but infused with complementary wellness modalities. These sessions are designed to support your body, mind, and spirit.
What to Expect
- Each session or workshop will vary in focus, drawing from Jen’s diverse expertise to meet the specific goals of the group. In addition to Classical Pilates exercise movement (depending on the focus of the session or workshop), you will also experience:
- 🌀 Fletcher-inspired movement: towel, breath, and standing work to enhance breath, flow, and postural alignment
- 🌸 Pelvic floor work for strength, stability, and core awareness
- 🧘♀️Foam Rolling, Acupressure techniques & Cupping: to promote circulation and healing
- 🪷 Ayurvedic education & resources to support seasonal balance and energetic harmony
- 💬 Women’s health coaching to empower your wellness journey

These sessions are offered under the Classical Pilates of Long Island umbrella, but are distinct from Lynn’s signature Classical Pilates instruction. They are a beautiful complement to our traditional offerings—ideal for clients seeking deeper insight, therapeutic support, or a more expansive movement experience.

I’m a comprehensively certified Classical Pilates Instructor with over two decades of experience in movement and wellness. My journey into Pilates became personal when it helped me resolve chronic nerve pain—something no other modality could reach. That healing experience shaped how I teach: with compassion, precision, and a whole-body perspective.
My work integrates the Classical Pilates method with complementary wellness practices, including acupuncture, Ayurveda, Fletcher towel and breathwork, pelvic floor-focused movement, and hormonal health coaching. I specialize in supporting women through every stage of life—from fertility and perimenopause to stress recovery and beyond.
My focus is always on wellness. Joseph Pilates created a system designed to treat the entire body for complete health, and I honor that vision in every session. The modalities I practice are chosen to support and enhance your Pilates experience, helping you move with clarity, breath, and purpose.
